Film Settings

It is possible to specify certain settings at the film level. This is helpful when a particular film needs to be scheduled differently than the rest of the slate.

To adjust the drop percentage for a specific film, select the desired cinema from the Cinema Listing then navigate to the Expand Movie list either via the Scheduling View page or by double-clicking any new release in the dashboard.

Then select the Film Settings tab on the top right-hand panel.

A user can adjust the pre-show time, intermission, Extra walk-in time, and Extra cleaning time. Extra time is in addition to the time set in Cinema Constraints. These settings can be attributed to specific timeslots. All timeslots are selected as the default.

Film Settings is also where a user can disable a playing film (the film will no longer be scheduled) and flag a film as a Children’s Film.

A user can also link two films, which merges two copies of a film and stops one of the copies.

A user can add an additional copy of the film if needed by selecting the Add new copy button. Please note: a user cannot delete a copy once added, though it is possible to stop it (link to stop film article).
