This article describes how to set the scheduling states, defines scheduling states, and describes how to take ownership of a schedule.
How to Set the Schedule Progress
Since it’s possible for multiple programmers to use the Schedule Module simultaneously, Cinema Intelligence provides users with the ability to set different schedule states in real-time to ensure all team members are aware of changes being made.
To set the scheduling state from, go to the Schedule Progress section located under Schedule Info in the Scheduling Dashboard.
Set the progress by clicking on the state desired:
The Schedule Progress is manually adjusted and the user can switch from one to the other as needed.
Scheduling States Defined
Since it’s possible for multiple programmers to use the Schedule Module simultaneously, Cinema Intelligence provides users with the ability to set different schedule states in real-time to ensure all team members are aware of changes being made.
The following outlines the states under the 3-state workflow process:
Idle: Cinemas are listed as Idle as a default. This means no user has entered the cinema to schedule for some time. The user can manually set the state to Idle too.
In Scheduling: The In Scheduling state fully enables the current cinema to be scheduled. In this state, the user’s name will appear below the cinema name as a quick visual reference.
Ready: Once the schedule is built and ready for export, the user will return to the Scheduling Dashboard and change the state to Ready.
There may be more options available if the 5-state workflow is enabled.
How to Take Ownership from Another User
Since it’s possible for multiple programmers to use the Schedule Module simultaneously on their respective cinemas, Cinema Intelligence provides users with the ability to take ownership so no two users are in the same cinema’s schedule at the same time.
If another user is currently in the desired cinema, simply select Take Ownership in the Schedule Info section.
The user's name will now populate next to “Current Owner”.
