Cinema Listing

What is the Cinema Listing?

Cinema Listing is a list of the enabled cinemas to which a user has access.

When the cinema isn’t in the idle state, the cinema listing will have a scheduling state with it’s matching color associated with it (Please see Scheduling States for more information). It will also list the current user.

How can a User Change Cinemas?

If multiple cinemas are listed, a user can select the cinema that they desire to schedule by taking ownership under the Schedule Info section.

Schedule Info:

The Schedule Info section displays important reference information:

  • Current play week: the week a user is building the schedule for.

  • Last Generated Schedule: the last time a schedule was generated.

  • Last Scheduled Day: Schedules are generated per day. This lists the last day of the week a schedule was generated for.

  • Last Scheduled By: The last user to generate a schedule.

  • Last Import: the date of the last import. This is a great way to ensure the module has the freshest data. A user can trigger a manual import if needed.

  • Current Owner: the user that is currently scheduling for the selected cinema from the Cinema Listing.

Cinema Info:

The Cinema Info section displays key data points for the selected cinema such as name, the number of screens, and total capacity.

It also displays current and upcoming holidays that may impact film performance as well as the upcoming weather forecast, updated daily from your local weather station.

Last Week's Top Performers:

The Last Week's Top Performers section displays the top performing films from the previous week along with the films’ age and admit numbers. The admits can be sorted by total weekend or for any day of the week.

This section also displays corresponding graphs to easily visualize which top three films performed best broken down by visitors and by occupancy.

New Releases, Movie Details, and Scheduling Constraints:

New Releases will display a list of films with release dates for that current play week. The list is color-coded.

if a film is selected, the film’s details will display to the right-hand side in the Movie Details section.

Below Movie Details, the film’s Scheduling Constraints will also display, such as any specific policies entered when the film was booked.

Double-clicking a film in the New Releases section will bring the user to the Expand Movie List.
