The CI Scheduling module is intended to help users quickly generate optimal weekly film schedules. The CI scheduling algorithm will prioritize film policies and cinema level operational constraints while aiming to maximize the occupancy of each show time.

This guide will help users set up the scheduling module as well as walk users through the workflow of verifying data and generating a schedule. Please refer to the glossary if you have any questions regarding terminology.

First-time users need to set up their user details as well as cinema constraints.

Once those are set, each scheduling session will begin by reviewing information on the Scheduling Homepage Dashboard to ensure data is up-to-date.

Next, users will generate a schedule with the following steps:

  1. In the Scheduling Dashboard, select the theater, and set the scheduling state.

  1. Navigate to the Expand Movie List to check the current week's performance of films and provide additional input to adjust film drop percentage, film scheduling constraints, and film settings.

  1. Navigate to the Scheduling View page, select the desired day, and generate the schedule.

  1. Evaluate the CI proposal using the Short Film list.

  1. Manually modify the proposed schedule as needed.

  1. Once finalized, navigate to the Homepage to change the scheduling state and Export the schedule to the ticketing system.

  1. Then users are ready to create a Distributor Report.

  1. Finally, users can create a schedule report in an excel file using Print.
