This article will explain how the events search engine works and which details are visible in the Event Overview display mode.

1. Search Engine

The search engine is located at the top of the page and can be used to search for a particular event or to filter existing events; there are six fields that can be used separately or in different combinations.

In order to make a selection, choose or enter the desired criteria and press Search. By default, the returned results are grouped by cinema, this function can be easily inactivated by un-checking the box Group by cinema. Click Clear Search to return at default state.

  • Customer Name field will return all events requested by one particular customer.

  • Cinema field is a drop down list of existing locations in the circuit; multiple locations can be selected in one search.

  • The Type field contains the list of event types and the Status field filters by the three existing statuses: Draft, Pending and Final.

  • Use both Release Data (from/till) fields to define an exact time interval to have a list of events with start date in a certain period.

2. Events Overview

The Events Overview section is located in the bottom half of the page and displays the results based on the selected criteria in the search engine.

By default, it displays the list of events with start date in the current month. Press the small arrows buttons to navigate from one month to another.

The status of the event is indicated by the corresponding color coding bar from the left side.

Possible event status:

  • Grey - the event release date is in the past

  • Yellow - the event has a Draft status

  • Red - the event is in a Pending status

  • Green - the event is in the Final status

This section has two display modes: simple mode and expanded mode.

The Simple display mode contains the following details: Event name, start date and name of the week day, starting time, length and Auditorium/Additional space in which the event takes place.

To get into Expand view mode, click on one desired event. Extra details displayed here are: forecasted number of guests, event type, location, customer name and the user that organized/created the event
